Founded over 20 years ago by Dennis A Caldwell Sr. following a successful career with the Federal Government where he spent 22 years in Construction Management, and Civil Engineering, Dennis Caldwell Jr. and Matt Watza are continuing to build with trust, integrity, and an attentiveness to clients that is unmatched.
Dennis A. Caldwell, Jr. | Project Manager
In 2003 Dennis Caldwell Jr. joined Sr. at Caldwell Construction after an extremely successful and notable career in Hotel Management at Hyatt Hotels. With an education from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and the strong values passed down from Dennis Sr., Dennis Caldwell Jr. swiftly became a leader who is highly proficient at managing successful teams. While with Hyatt Hotels, Dennis Jr. was awarded Manager of the Quarter, and Manager of the Year, and has earned Caldwell Construction several nominations as Small Contractor of the Year from Cornerstone Building Foundations. Dennis Caldwell Jr. has successfully managed more than $25M worth of projects in the past 5 years and continues to focus on creating enjoyable long-term partnerships in Southern Arizona.
Matt Watza | Project Manager
Prior to uniting with Caldwell Construction, Matt Watza began his career in construction as a teenager with an internship framing homes with a National Home Builder. With a dedication to advance his knowledge of construction he was quickly promoted through the trades and began pursuing a degree in Construction Management at Michigan State University. After completing his degree Matt Watza went on to work with a large multi-billion National Construction Company as a project engineer for several years. Continuing his field experience, Matt Watza accepted the offer of site superintendent with a locally owned general contractor where he was quickly promoted to project manager. Ultimately Matt Watza went on to establish a general contracting company with average annual revenues of 30 million a year, in the role of practicing principal in charge of overseeing day to day operations, as well as managing many successful projects.
